We all know that there are very few options for entertainment during a lockdown, including concerts, trips to coffee shops, and movie theaters. There are eventually only comfortable hours in front of the television, tablet, or computer left, which offer variety.

Good movies to watch when bored
The Undoing (2020)
There must be some truth to the hype when celebrities like the Kardashians talk exclusively about one topic. The show centers on Grace Fraser’s life (Nicole Kidman). She is about to release her first book and is a successful therapist. Her life, however, changes drastically when the mother of one of her son Henry’s classmates is murdered and her husband Jonathan (Hugh Grant) fades away.
UnREAL (2015)
With “UnREAL,” you can cut the wait for the upcoming seasons of “Bachelor” or “Love Island” in half. The fictional dome show Everlasting is produced by Quinn and Rachel, two television producers who are the subject of the story. It is about finding love, much like “Bachelor,” but Rachel causes a lot of drama and scandal while it is being filmed. Is there any truth to the intriguing plots of the series, which was created by the former producer of American “Bachelor”?
Fleabag (2017)
A young woman in London by the name of “Fleabag” tries to organize her chaotic life. The British comedy series follows Fleabag’s bravery and humor as she faces her fears after her best friend passes away and she and her boyfriend break up. Six Emmys in total were won by the show.
Little Fires Everywhere (2020)
Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington play unlikely mothers who are compelled to get along through adoption in the drama series.
Modern Love (2019)
Fans of Happy New Year, Valentine’s Day, or Love Actually will love this series. The two seasons present heartfelt, tragic, or humorous tales of love.
The Bold Type (2017)
The three friends Jane, Kat, and Sutton manage their daily tasks at the women’s magazine “Scarlet” and try to solve their personal issues, such as recently discovered bisexuality, forbidden love, and relationship problems. The series is referred to as the new “Sex and the City” and is already in the mood for the revival “And Just Like That.” The 52 episodes spread across five seasons of the show will keep you busy for some time.
Lupine (2021)
Assane Diop lost his father when he was a teenager after being falsely accused of a crime. A revenge plot is hatched by Assane using “Arsène Lupin, the Gentleman Thief” as inspiration 25 years later.
Below Deck (2015)
The crew of a luxurious yacht is the subject of the reality TV program. The crew experiences ups and downs while traveling, and they are entertained by romances at work and personal dramas. Netflix offers Below Deck: Mediterranean for three seasons and two seasons totaling 25 episodes. Eight more seasons have already been released, so supplies from the streaming service seem very likely.
MAID (2021)
With this miniseries about the difficulties of being a single mother, Margot Robbie made her directorial debut. It was poignant, depressing, and hopeful. The new production, which is currently the most watched miniseries on Netflix, was even more successful than “The Queen’s Gambit.”
Boom, boom, tick, tick! (2021)
The popular songs from “Rapunzel: Neu Verföhnt,” “Hamilton,” and other hit musicals are written by Manuel Lin Miranda, who is also directing the biopic of “Rent” creator Jonathan Larson. After “High School Musical,” Vanessa Hudgens and ex-Spidey Andrew Garfield successfully sell themselves as musical stars.
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Jamal, an unremarkable 18-year-old boy from Mumbai, once won a spot on the renowned Who Wants to Be a Millionaire program. He was raised in a slum and came to the project, as one might imagine, for the money. It turned out, however, that this is not entirely accurate. For fun, he was allowed to participate in the show. Without education, what can a yard boy understand? Jamal, however, miraculously answers every question correctly.
Ocean’s 11 (2001)
After being released from prison, fraudster Danny Ocean made the decision to make things better at the expense of an old enemy, Terry Benedict, and to also try to find his ex-wife Tess. His goal is to steal the proceeds of the three casinos owned by Benedict. An agile Asian acrobat, a master pickpocket, brothers-techies, a programmer, and masters of splurge made up Danny’s professional team. But it didn’t work without noise and dust.
12 years of slavery (2013)
The life of black musician Solomon Northup is depicted in the movie. A free African American lived and worked in New York in 1841 with his family. Despite being given the chance to perform in Washington, he was kidnapped and made to work on Louisianan plantations. Northup was held as a slave for twelve years while making useless attempts to escape or get in touch with his family.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
The real-life tale of how African American Chris Gardner, who was unemployed, rose to success as a broker. He struggled to make ends meet while working as a salesman and raising his five-year-old son by himself. After another delay in payment, Chris was evicted from the apartment. But he was able to enter the group of wealthy, happy individuals who always made their debt payments thanks to a chance acquaintance.
Game Down (2015)
The economic crisis of 2008 was brutal but predictable. Due to their careful planning and analytical prowess, people made billions. If it is not shared with others, knowledge is wealth and power.
The movie, starring Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale, received four Oscar nominations.
