There are reasons why people come and go from your life. For a day, a season, or even a lifetime, at times. You can learn something from someone’s presence if you are aware of why they are there. When someone enters your life, it typically happens after you subconsciously or consciously expressed a need. People show up to assist you when you’re in need, to provide guidance and support, to help you physically, emotionally, or spiritually, to help you develop as a person and for the growth of your soul.
A moment later, something is said or done that causes the relationship to end. Or a loved one may pass away, or they may choose to restart their own life. Sometimes they turn on you and make you decide to stand up for yourself. We must acknowledge that our needs have been met, our wishes have been granted, and their work has been completed. It’s time to move on because the request you made—whether unconsciously or consciously—has been fulfilled. Some people stay in your life for a while because you need to share, develop, or learn from them. They make you feel joy or sorrow, peace or confusion, and they can make you laugh or cry. You may learn something from them that you have never done or experienced before.
Your relationships in life teach you lessons about life that help your soul become more conscious. It is our hope that you will understand, accept, and learn these lessons in order to deal with the experiences you will subsequently have in life. Love those individuals and apply everything you’ve learned from them to all other relationships and circumstances in your life. If someone has hurt you or is still doing it, forgive them. You are not required to condone his or her actions because of that.
Keep in mind that there is a “higher” reason for this, which you frequently fail to recognize when you are in an uncomfortable or desperate situation. When you reflect on a situation later, you frequently understand what it means to you and what you can learn from it. Then, whether they were present for a single day, an entire lifetime, or something in between, you might be happy that they were.
